Can someone ELI5 why a Zeus lighting payment from River to Zeus of 200k sats is pending for 20 hours?
You would think the UX of Zeus would walk you through the liquidity trap of lightning. WTF.

Their LSP hold it while you are off line. Then you can turn on your node and redeem it. Is that? Or is another issue?
I cannot redeem a payment to the lightning address and after 24 hours it canceled. I was under the impression I screwed up by not funding an incoming channel
If you used an invoice, ZEUS has to be online to accept the payment.
If you used the lightning address, you need to manually redeem it on the lightning address view.
I sent some sats to myself via an invoice and it worked then I set up a Zeus pay address and I could not redeem the payment
For ZEUS Pay you need an inbound channel from the ZEUS LSP
The documentation and UX are horrific. So many footguns in there
We’re working to tighten it up for the next major release.
Previously, you were able to have an address without a direct chan with us, but you would pay as you go. Free option now requires a direct chan to cover the routing.
Self-custodial async LN isn’t easy.
