If you used an invoice, ZEUS has to be online to accept the payment.

If you used the lightning address, you need to manually redeem it on the lightning address view.

I sent some sats to myself via an invoice and it worked then I set up a Zeus pay address and I could not redeem the payment

For ZEUS Pay you need an inbound channel from the ZEUS LSP

We’re working to tighten it up for the next major release.

Previously, you were able to have an address without a direct chan with us, but you would pay as you go. Free option now requires a direct chan to cover the routing.

Self-custodial async LN isn’t easy.

I was not being negative. Just frustrated, but it’s really lightning network wide complexity. I’ll keep working at it. My payment was returned to River, and I have some sats in there to use to open an inbound channel.
