why i have such a bee in my bonnet about this is that at school i had teachers punish me for proving them wrong, several times

that was what blackpilled me about the real nature of the state education system

It's not called school, but children concentration camp

and getting blackpilled made me so mad i slacked off and wasn't able to get into CS at university, i was so mad

Self-education is where it's at buddy. Formal education (should/did) teaches you how to think ... the rest, is still to do #lifelonglearning (hours per day) ->> #Polymath (and most of the planet thinking you're completely insane most of the time, which is ... something I hadn't considered ) #HyperConnectingDots #FasterThanLight ;)

yeah, it's maybe useful especially in times when i've managed to do something useful and proven my value and demonstrated why i have said other things in the past that are related, to mention that i have a serious bug up my ass about people being wrong and still getting respect, and vice versa

Paul Erdos and Wolfgang Pauli are two famous scientists (mathematician and physicist) who were notorious for shooting straight, and i admire them and this is my character also

I never went along with the 'let them be wrong to be nice' crowd. I call things as I see them (gets me into LOTS of trouble). :(

yeah, i was wrong about the ECDH in this case tho haha

so i've got an ECDH function, and i recognise it as being same as the one i know works that is slow as shit written in Go, for one that is in C but requires a modification so it stops early and just returns a value part way into the calculation

because fuck you that's why lol, the speed of 80 ops per second is so bad i can't stand it

that's horrible. I kept on the down low with such teachers. in college they seemed thrilled if you were participating at a level that you proved them wrong. it's like they discovered someone they had been waiting for their whole life.

in America we have more the situation where students expect to get good grades and it puts too many people on the same solution.
