Reverse sear is the only way imo. At 115 degrees though you gonna be there a while. 😂

Takes about 30 minutes or so. It’s not terrible. That’s when I fire up the charcoal so gotta wait on that anyway.

I usually do mine at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes and then 60 seconds on each side for a perfect medium rare.

We’ve had this one for a year or so. It’s a good unit. Next one I get I needs to talk to my phone.

I like the ThermPro better because I can monitor the temp from my couch and it beeps when it reaches the required temperature.

I prefer this because I have too many notifications on my phone already. This is an old model though. The new fancy phone thermometers probably do more fancy stuff.
