I do not understand the fear mongering about securing a seed phrase. It is twelve words total and securing twelve words is not difficult.
Each sentence in this post is exactly 12 words long, so difficult.

I think it's what those 12 words represent. If it was just 12 words it wouldn't be an issue for most people but if those words equal hundreds of thosands of dollars or more then that becomes a huge amount of resposibility that overwhelms many people. It isn't irrational.
💯 since you can't figure out how to secure your seed let me sell you a hardware device to do it rather than educate one how to do it safely.

The main issue is that a lot of people can’t even exercise the diligence required to secure their primary email account password, if they accidentally untick the “remember password” box.
If one can keep a secret, they can secure their seed phrase.
If one cannot keep a secret, they possibly cannot secure their seed phrase.
