I just spun up a self-hosted lightning node this week on a DIY Start9. Integrated it with AlbyHub and got everything flowing properly in and out.

There were a few bumps along the way, but it works. And it’s my first time doing anything like this.

Then, any podcast app that uses the Alby integration can function on top of a self-hosted node.

Good to know. Everytime I tried to login to Alby it failed, so I want sure if it was a different (custodial) account.

Wish I knew enough to help troubleshoot but I’d just be asking a bunch of dumb questions and going around in circles right now.

Yeah I suspect it's just a login issue based on your experience. I'm guessing my email is not my getalby lightning address 🤷

It shouldn’t be. Your alby address should be [something] @ getalby [.] com
