I’ll tell you very simply I think they are full of shit. Like they were for every single war for my entire life and for all of them for 20 years before I was born.

And I can’t imagine someone still just taking them at their word considering that not once has it held up. Literally not a single time.

I might be missing what you’re really getting at here. Let’s be more specific: Do you think Iran has zero nuclear ambitions? And if they achieved them, would a theocracy with nuclear weapons concern you at all? Does Western governments dishonesty somehow make Iranian threats less real?

Do you or do you not believe Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction and therefore must be stopped at all costs?

I really don’t know. Do you know?

What about Iran? Are they also not developing nuclear weapons?

They definitely are now

Before they wanted to have the capability of developing a nuke as a deterrent so Israel and the US wouldn’t do to them what they did to Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen.

Gaddafi gave up their nuclear weapons program and look at what they did to him.

Iran is not dumb. Without a nuclear deterrent they are as good as cooked.

Israel wants total control and domination of the region. Iran is the last one standing

Fair point. So honestly - what path forward do you see?

Maybe stop with the endless aggressive wars, overthrowing elected regimes, funding violent extremist groups, and supporting and installing tyrants across the Middle East?… I don’t know maybe that’s an option?

Be more specific please. Israel invented Hamas? Is that it? Bibi invented radical Islamism?

Yes, Ron Paul informed us of this many years ago.

Idk about radical islamism

You’re not sure whether Bibi invented radical Islamism ?

No one “invented” radical islamism. Factions in Islam became radicalized from US and Israeli actions in the region, but I’m not sure to what extent Bibi himself is responsible for

What about isis? Is that western creation too?

U.S. support for Syrian rebels contributed to the rise of ISIS. This lead to regional destabilization, a refugee crisis, and increased terrorism.

Israel and the US helped ISIS and al-Qaeda take over Syria.

Didn’t know that.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m describe myself as libertarian, even anarcho capitalist on a good day. It just doesn’t mean I can’t distinguish peaceful societies from non peaceful ones.

"Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian State has to support bolstering Hamas & transferring money to Hamas. This is part of our strategy to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank. It's impossible to reach an agreement with them, everyone knows this, but we control the height of the flame."

~Benjamin Netanyahu 2019

Ok. So Bibi indeed invented radical Islamism. Now we found who to blame.

It’s not that simple, but Bibi is not a good actor.

Consider listening to Nick in general, but the last 2 shows are very informative on the current war

Diplomacy went out the window the moment Israel did the air strikes on Thursday

They are in a full blown war, so the path forward is for one side to defeat the other.

Do you have a preference?

My preference is that the US does not get involved

Wait, you still believe the nonsense about the Iraq war today?

As I said, I genuinely don’t know enough about Iraq to comment. But help me understand your perspective on Iran - are their nuclear ambitions a conspiracy in your opinion ? What’s the exact reason it doesn’t seem to concern you?

Seem to keep avoiding from answering. Why?

This is the sort of crap that annoys me more than anything. First I don’t even know what you are wanting me to answer, second I have a stupid busy life, especially right now, and I’m not a loser who spends every second of my day on social. Literally haven’t even been up here since yesterday.

Probably see you tomorrow. If you want to not be a “omgerd he didn’t respond 20 seconds later got em” and make a legitimate point that isn’t a “so you don’t want to invade another country indiscriminately!? Well what if they are super bad guys?” News vomit, you may do so under this post. But my desire to have a conversation with you has dropped significantly and you clearly have never even tried to look into this beyond whatever you heard on the news and I don’t feel like regurgitating something I’ve covered in a million different places here again for you.

You may try though.

Reducing complex questions to ‘news sheep vs enlightened skeptic’ is the real intellectual poverty. Reality exists between blind faith and total conspiracy. Understanding requires respectful dialogue, not dismissive labels. Your inability to engage without ad hominem attacks mirrors the dogma you project onto others.

The inability to see clearly repeated asked questions (look above in the thread) while finding energy for insults is very disappointing for someone like you. True intellectual discourse demands patience, humility, and honest engagement with challenging ideas - not dismissive language about ‘losers.’ This is exactly the difference between constructive and destructive dialogue.

Look

Ok 👍🏻

Demand I answer, play the “gotcha” game, then play the holier than thou card.

Thanks anyway but telling me I have to answer you on Father’s Day is a great way to earn exactly what you’ve received.

Can you make it less cryptic? Don’t know what’s the gotcha game. There is also the option of just answering the questions, just as people do in intellectual dialogue.

Listen, my wife is sick, kids are crazy, I thought I was going to get this day to do a little work, and then I come up here for 5 minutes and have to respond to the most vapid News lineup talking points imaginable and then you acting like your ignorance of 40 years of regime change, CIA funding, the history of lies that have proliferated every single war we have been in since JFK’s murder, the explicit manipulation, and not even knowing that Netanyahu has been funding and helping Hamas, pushed me a little too far today. I’m not going to lay out the history of the Shah of Iran and everything in the Middle East which is so obviously the consequence of our horrific and incessant meddling, overthrowing democracies, installing tyrants, and directly funding terrorists of all kinds since before the days of Bush 1.0.

Maybe I’ll come back to this, but I just don’t have the patience today. I got a little overheated and that’s my bad. I’m out of socials for a while though. Might come back to this later in the week. You can *easily* go do a little homework if you just want to look into any of the things mentioned above or pretend they don’t exist. Up to you.

If you want the simple intro, I suggest watching this documentary and then just verifying the claims, like any good Bitcoiner should. Don’t believe it blindly, and stop listening to the damn establishment whatever you do. It always pure bullshit.

Yes. I agree with a lot of what you say. I’m still wondering about your thoughts in the specific matter. Do you think Iran is trying to get nuclear weapons? And if they are, do you think it would be reasonable at some point to try to prevent it militarily?
