Yesterday was a truly phenomenal day for our first Legislative Day of Action and Kickoff BBQ.

We had over 14 Bitcoiners join us at the Capitol to get a shout out from the House floor and then visit their state representative's office to drop off information.

Afterwards, we had over 70 people at the Michigan Bitcoin Trade Council headquarters for a Kickoff BBQ. We were joined by over 30 Lansing staffers, and 5 key state legislators, from both sides of the aisle, Rep. Brenda Carter (D), Rep. Bryan Postuhumus (R), Rep. Mike McFall (D), Rep. Joe Aragona (R), and Rep. Steve Carra (R).

Also, because Bitcoin is for everyone, we had people who drove all the way from Traverse City, Battle Creek, Grand Rapids, and Oakland County to be a part of the festivities.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and a better group of people. I'm so blessed and excited to be a part of this movement, and the success of this event just shows there is a need for our educational/integration based organization.
