Can you upload to nostr so we may enjoy and zap without interacting with YouTube?
My files are 10gb big. As far as I know it’s still not really feasible. I can compress them really hard but then the quality will suffer…
Do you know a good way?
Premiere Pro exports are too big to be useful - takes ages to upload.
I use Handbrake (FOSS) for video compression & encoding. It takes some stuffing around to get the settings right but then you have a preset that is reusable. Much better compression than any Adobe solution & most others I've found.
I wouldn't go over 720p res for Nostr vids (most people are using their phones anyway). Just downloading from YouTube at 720p gets me a 180MB file. I uploaded this download to Nostr build (I have a sub).

I follow you for content you did in the past but this one is itself such a cheap dopamine hit with a click-bait visual, setting expectations way too high for your story of what you did yesterday to get some likes and follows.
For me it was one of the biggest physical challenges I went through.
