I didn’t quite get told off but I did get removed from a conversation with extended family members last night.
They expressed a slither of interest in bitcoin and I have no idea what came over me 😂

What didn’t they know about bitcoin?
I'm learning that lesson more and more every week it seems. My mouth doesn't know when to shut up on a good day so not coming off as a psych ward patient isn't easy when unfolding bitcoin to newbs. Less is more I think

It’s difficult not to do this. I’ve learned there’s a lot of power in not saying too much, though. I usually tell them to check out some of my work online and then come back to me with any questions. Helps to sort out who’s actually interested and who isn’t.
Been there 🤣 🫂 Now I keep my mouth shut and nod whenever someone has an "inkling" about Bitcoin or raises a real-world issue that Bitcoin can solve. I stare, nod and agree with whatever they said or mirror their concerns and act dumb or surprised
Same. I did a 1 hour call with a millennial on Friday who asked to learn about it.. Maybe she looks in further, maybe she doesn't.
I definitely felt I went on too long. At the end I complimented her genuinely that she did even had the determination to ask about it!
To be fair it’s very difficult not to when people start asking questions. I’ve had friends start rolling their eyes because another person we’re at dinner with keeps asking me more and more questions
