Replying to Avatar cloud fodder

Ya know what I find really weird about quoting. Is you don't get notified when someone quotes. I think that's super lame.

The quote note client could easily tag the OP but it doesn't, is this just a Twitter fallout bullshit thing? Like, better to Not let the OP know you quoted them?

i still dont get how it works either.. if ppl tag you inside their note u still get notified so why not also with quote repost #asknostr
