This only goes to 2021 but shows levels have varied historically and been much higher than the current CWFIS National Wildland Fire Sitrep estimate of 5,753 fires this year. Current is much higher than the 10yr average of 1,684 fires (YTD) but this is still lower than many years going back to 1980.
