Found out it’s lymphoma. They drained some fluids last night and she came home with us doing ok in normal spirits. We’re not doing chemotherapy, just steroids daily to reduce inflammation.
I know this is a holistic bunch -any recommendations to extend quality of life in dogs… raw meat? Ivermectin?

Giving my old dog cbd treats 3 times daily extended her life for several years after my vet wanted to put her down.
It managed her pain well and drastically improved her quality of life. This is the brand I highly recommend.
I would look at a warm, brothy diet; it is nourishing for the digestive tract. Warm foods, according to Chinese medicine, would be chicken, egg yolk, chicken liver, beef kidney with neutral foods as sardines, grasd fed beef, and beef liver. Could look into keto for dogs; cancer struggles to feed off ketones. I have fed a homemade diet, but not keto so not much advice there. I would look at milk thistle and curcumin, as a start. I am not a vet or doctor, just a functional medicine rabbit hole-ian and health coach, who has healed her own dog from a vaccine injury. Maybe look into fenbendazole (Panacur is brand name for dogs) and lymphoma, might be helpful? Sending blessings 🙏
