Been looking for a LN solution for zaps since nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq died. I run my own node and have been eyeing Nostr Wallet Connect but can’t figure a few things out.

¿ will my whole balance be spendable? I don’t want this cause I don’t want to fat finger a 1M sat zap. Can you/ does it create a wallet you can add funds to in small amounts?

Can anyone point me to a video or articles that explain this? Or DM me for a back&forth Q&A.

Maybe I just need to install it and try it out? OK fair enough. But I guess main question is will my whole LN stack be spendable? Cause Damus has no passcode, so what if someone picks up my phone and opens Damus?

If you use Alby’s Nostr wallet connect then you can set a spending budget but I don’t have experience running NWC with my own node. If you have telegram then another easy to use lightning wallet is Lightning Tip Bot ( https://ln.tips ). You set it up in telegram but then can link it to Zeus for a regular wallet interface. And it gives you the option for an anonymized lightning address if you don’t want to dox your telegram username.

This zap was spent from a NWC from my node and split 100% with Damus.

Nostr+Lightning is amazing.
