Linked Fountain app and Damus so now any zaps received will now go directly to my lightning wallet and be used for V4V supporting Podcasting 2.0. #[0] would you say this is a positive development for podcasting 2.0 or still down on zaps?

When I try to zap you I get an error message “invalid Lightning Address” - works ok from your profile tho.
Can you double check you’ve entered it correctly?
I just zapped myself from Damus and the sats showed up in fountain. I don’t see the indication of a new zap on note though. Not sure why but the funds transferred from my wallet to fountain
Unless a Zap respects the 'value block' splits, it is not helping podcasting 2.0
The whole idea of keeping developers and services in the 'value flow' breaks with single recipient zaps.

I think what he means is all the sats he gets from zaps on Nostr on his notes go directly into his fountain wallet, and from there in the fountain app he boosts podcasts. This means the value will be split accordingly.
I think there was a misunderstanding because I didnt phase it correctly. I’m not saying we should Zap podcasts. I’m saying Damus/Fountain integration is another way to fund your V4V wallet. Fountain is still respecting the splits.

Just a thought but would love your take on it. Podcasters to split the income with the guests for a particular episode. Not sure if it is possible.
We've has this working for 2 years with value block splits. Guests get a wallet at @getalby

I've received sats for being a guest on Podcasting 2.0. Months ago. We've had the whole system going 2 years.
Yep, already works. It’s part of the spec. If you’ve ever boosted a podcast, chances are you boosted a guest at the same time.
