Just went Office Space on my printer.

Need recommendations for a replacement.

Qualifications: It needs to print things onto paper.

Bonus points: it should not give me an aneurysm every time I interact with it.

If I go with your recommendation and theres a happy ending I promise I’ll come back to this note and fat zap the shit out of your reply.

I've had good look with my Epson ET-2720. It has little "tanks" of ink that you fill, and the ink lasts a long time. Has saved us a ton vs the cartridges.

Will look into it thanks

How do you usually connect to it? Mine works fine because I only use it to print via hardwire. It's a pain to connect it to wifi or print things from my phone. And the generic brand replacement ink is cheap on Amazon.

Canon Pixma iX6820

The other pixmas aren't bad either, like if you want one with a screen.

Yea hardwire connection sounds good to me. The printer that shall not be named was WiFi

Laser. Don’t go ink. My life improved greatly with that change. Brother as a brand has performed very well for me.

Bookmarking this…yet to find a printer that just works.

As a former IT Director, Canon really has the optimal solutions. Especially when it comes to Laser.

We just replaced one Canon that finally went end of life cycle with

No love for lasers by Brother? The MFC-L2700DW will scan and photocopy and has no annoying protections against compatible cartridges, going strong after years.

Going to look into it, thx

Don't buy HP, expensive inkwells

My friend you need an Epson ink tank printer like this one. Works perfectly prints color, lasts forever, no cartridges, and ink cost is about 1 cent per page. There are higher end models than this, they're all pretty good.
