Move fast and fix things!
Have issues with syncing Followers and also the Follow number keep coming and going. Not seem to be syncing properly. Thank you for the hard work 🙏
Yeah this new model will be terrible to sync followers because they need to send their follow to your relay. That will take time to update everyone.
The following though is another issue. Are your outbox relays working? They should have your lists but one of them might have an outdated version 🤔
Ok I see, followers count is not the most important. Think my outbox relays are working fine and im also running Citrine locally. But everything in the feed, especially media content is loading extremely slow now compared to before update.
Follower count is stuck. And notifications are stuck/ not showing?! I had a reply I missed.
Also FWIW, the relay options are overwhelming... is there a "default" option? I appreciate the toggle-bility but there's a lot going on there. 🥴

Yep, that was the goal.
- playstore version crashed on android 10 last time I checked
- Minor issues in the dutch translation (gelezen means "Already read" not long form articles, that should be Artikelen for example).
- spammer list does not persist, but as it auto blocks their messages its hard to block them.
- spammers in group chats are not detected unless I visit their profile.
- I still get no ntfy notifications at all.
Comments vanish sometimes after scrolling past them once read.

Image loading problems for me too. Also glitchy notifications and it messed up my relays. I had about 47 before and now I have 260 🫠
Many images still not loading, as well as a lot of my past notes and notifications. Can't get gifts and images to post either.
But understand now that the relays change was intentional.
Not complaining, by the way. Letting you know in case it is still helpful to be getting feedback.

I do see names. Karnage is an example of someone I see the name of but not the PFP.
Reset those categories to default.

Oh man.. ok, it's not the loading of the metadata, it's not the image cache because the profile uses a different one due to being a different size.
On the profile, you can click and hold the robot to copy the URL of the image to the clipboard. Does it load then when you open that URL on a browser?
Do you have space in disk?
It doesn't open in Vanadiun or Brave on phone but I do have a lot of disk space still available.

If the browser doesn't work, there is something off on your setup. Are you on stock Android or graphene? Any firewalls?

Using Next DNS and a VPN. No other firewalls. Maybe an issue with the DNS? Amethyst was working fine before the updates a few days ago.
Now that we suddenly have a large amount of relays, it would be nice to have a search filter. nostr.wine keeps hassling me to pay them to post. I want to remove them from the list but I have to scroll through >1000 relays to find it.
So far everything is fine on my end by the looks of it. Great work!
Global feed thingy I talked about last time
Other than the nostr.wine thing, looks like Amethyst is still trying to publish a few notes to the "wrong" relays. E.g., notes that I'm not tagged in to my Inbox relay and non NIP-17 events to my chat relay.
I don't know if it's Amber or Amethyst but I get constant requests to decrypt despite passing Always for allowed

How do I stop it from auto translating some user's posts? It has been auto translating evethything that some users post here, and I could not find a way to disable this feature.
I have tried, in "User Preferences", the "Don't translate from" menu, but it gives no drop down options. I would prefer to not have auto translation at all, to be honest.

When you see a translated message, you can disable translations from that language by pressing the link in the bottom sentence that says auto-translated from ... to...
Also, the app doesn't translate if languages you speak are added to your Android Settings.

When I make a note or comment. I get this popup that says I need to pay the nostr wine relay money. I did not add that paid relay anywhere because I am not a member of it.
