If Bitcoin is the best money and Nostr is to be the best community, we have to think about what makes a community good.

Comparatively, it is easy to build the best money because there are characteristics define what good money is. Chapter 1 of the Bitcoin Standard covers this well.

But there's no definition for what makes a good community. It is much more subjective than defining what money is.

Decentralizing with the NOSTR protocol is a good start. It gives power back to the masses.

But now what? How do we build good communities? Thinking deeply on this can help build Nostr into what we dream it to be.

The fact that clients are not able to lock people into using them means that the best ones will proliferate and sub par ones will be abandoned. This will lead to a natural evolution towards the best possible experience, and give people a choice in deciding what they think is the best for them. They will be able to try any client without having to start from scratch every time, so the top clients will have to continually innovate instead of getting popular and then stagnating.

I don't think we really need to worry about it.

Nostr is striving to be the greatest PoS network the world has ever seen . Proof of stake , no . Proof of Support 🙌🏼
