Marie… watch how dangerous this line of thinking is:

“Look at #[2] , those greedy MFers. Taking in over 2MM sats, and not sharing it with anyone else. We should shame them for being so selfish.”

Meanwhile, myself and the team have poured in hundreds of hours working on this project. If I had spent a few hours moonlighting, would have made up the difference right away. We’ve spent more than we’ve taken in building the site, and other backend infrastructure that you don’t see. But we love providing value, and do this for the community.

Look at your own numbers… The average power user here doesn’t have 1/3 of a Bitcoin going in and out of their wallet. I assume that’s because you participate in “zap wars”, and not that you’re funneling 20 million sats to an alt account. Looking only at Ins/Outs doesn’t tell you the whole store. People have been large gifts of sats for newborns, which are taken off the platform and put into cold storage. There are so many more reasons why these numbers can look different for different users.

I don’t think we should judge what other people do with their money. There are so many things that can make those numbers irrelevant. Focus on providing value and growing the platform.
