I am still working on my connections, as I came almost randomly as an artist, but I am not familiar with all the btc things, so I still cannot understand many of the things I browse, least great part of the memes, I am grateful though to have this "fresh" space where you can potentially connect with new people. Meanwhile, myself and the team have poured in hundreds of hours working on this project. If I had spent a few hours moonlighting, would have made up the difference right away. We’ve spent more than we’ve taken in building the site, and other backend infrastructure that you don’t see. But we love providing value, and do this for the community.
Look at your own numbers… The average power user here doesn’t have 1/3 of a Bitcoin going in and out of their wallet. I assume that’s because you participate in “zap wars”, and not that you’re funneling 20 million sats to an alt account. Looking only at Ins/Outs doesn’t tell you the whole store. People have been large gifts of sats for newborns, which are taken off the platform and put into cold storage. There are so many more reasons why these numbers can look different for different users.
I don’t think we should judge what other people do with their money. There are so many things that can make those numbers irrelevant. Focus on providing value and growing the platform.

1. The data is incomplete, or bad.
Source: It says I’m net positive instead of profoundly negative 😆. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
2. Once I shoot off a ⚡️ it belongs to whomever I shot and idgaf what they do with it. Those sats are theirs to do with as they please.
3. Our time is limited and I’m not going to waste mine digging into who does/doesn’t participate in the pioneering that is this ⚡️ experiment. I just don’t care and tbh I sorta pity em because they’re missing out imho.
