- You can send in #btc via #lightning

- It automagically stores as #liquid

- You can swap between liquid and onchain, and vice versa

- You can send from your liquid balance as a lightning transaction

Great product! nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q

I'd love to use #liquid, but I'm not sure what would happen to my funds if Blockstream were to be raided by authorities or go bankrupt.

What would happen to your funds if your fiat bank was raided?

I never keep a large balance on #liquid, but just enough so that I can swap to #onchain, or #lightning, as I see fit.

I suppose, in my limited understanding, I accept the possibility of a @Blockstream raid as a trade off against possible forced channel closes on lightning. Also, as I understand it, it's much more difficult than just raiding Blockstream, they would have to raid all the other liquid federation companies (like trying to acquire all keys to a geographically dispersed multisig - highly unlikely).

Not sure :-)
