Oh ok. This is my rule of thumb.
Garlic salt, cracked black pepper, onion powder. They add just enough flavor to help pretty much anything taste seasoned.
If you want to add heat start with crushed red peppers then graduate to cayenne + white pepper.
Dried herbs are tricky so when in doubt donβt and paprika is primarily for color.
