I haven't checked the video, but I don't give a shit who created it. It only matters what the code does and how it is currently working. Any malicious intentions would've been revealed years ago...

Second this

Unless they just waiting for the right time to strike

This would probably need a break of the cryptography used in Bitcoin, which is not impossible, but very unlikely. Bitcoins code has been reviewed by more people than most other software, so some kind of other backdoor would probably have been discovered by now.

Don't worry too much about this.

The connection is really not that compelling. We should expect that there would be a trail of numerous organizations, people, and papers from all around the world that all came together to bring about the emergence of bitcoin.

How much of the internet itself was created by governments and adjacent entities? What's more, the push for a CBDC suggests to me that even if it was the NSA it was likely one or more white hats because otherwise there wouldn't now be a *need* for a completely centralized and surveiled digital government token.

The narrative that the video presents cherry picks history and doeant mention many of the inherent properties of the bitcoin protocol that make it counter productive for a bad actor to be incentivised to create.

I hope this is true 🫡
