Yes. The people who get in on Nostr early are the ones who set the tone. That's part of why it's a better place than X. Good people who understand and want freedom has found Nostr early, and has made it a pleasant place to be, for the most part.
Blue-whatever that got filled by leftist made that an extremely toxic place, as they all brought their baggage, but they got what they wanted, because they were early.
I'm really happy about the types of people who has found Nostr early!
Also, like someone else mentioned, more time to get zapped for content, and possibly bigger zaps as bitcoin will keep growing and some will reduce their zap amount as times goes on.
The advantage for me is that if there are any disadvantages to being here early, I'm facing them before Digit, and if there aren't, then I can potentially help make this a better place for her anyway.

I thought about that but it feels these exist less nowadays. Someone with a big audience can usually switch social networks and get a big audience quickly just by virtue of some of the same people being over there

Adopting nostr, right now, is an advantage. If you do it later, you will miss out.
It was so easy to settle bills with friends at BTC Prague using zaps. Want to track events on Plektos? Log in with nostr. It's the only social media I use regularly.
Some interesting answers, to me the biggest benefit I've seen is conversations with higher signal people. I think nostr most users that are early have freedom on the mind and high capability.
Also access to the devs, I think this will disappear over time.
