Oxchat and Keychat are not stable or feature-rich enough to compete.

I try to get everyone to use 0xchat, but they're private groups for the most part and this is still a mess on Nostr.

Ox doesn’t do Groups well at least the last time I tried but no doubt they are striving to improve. Not sure about Keychat for groups.

Yes. I joined Telegram a few years ago because of Bitcoin Twitter and Bitcoiners using it to organize and attend events etc. I get so many DMs every day from scammers. I hate Telegram.

Whitenoise is an app that I think has the potential to reverse this scenario...if gets developed and maintained properly. Till then, Signal has a robust usecase.

I used it 3 years ago and then I found Nostr and decided to upgrade, by deleting Keet.

Keet 3 years ago didn't support mobile and had a group chat limit of about 50 people. It now supports mobile and has no group limits with one group already with 13000 people, it has a heap of new features including things like livestreaming
