I read that the seeds need light for germination so you are not supposed to bury them in soil. I will try it this time

How to prevent them drying out too quickly this way?

🤷‍♂️ I’ll let you know. My first time

I’ll probably water them from the bottom

Use a humidity dome

How about this

Do you mean blinded paths?

Ground cherries are 🔥🔥🔥

Not for germination, but very very soon after.

More about warmth and moisture for germination

As a rule of thumb, the smaller the seed, the less deep they want to be. 1x-2x the size of the seed is a good planting depth. In the case of very small seeds like ground cherry, they can be simply sewn on the surface or covered with a very light sprinkling of soil.
