Better to just buy a cheap secondhand monitor, you’ll probably gonna need it in the future too when problems arise…
I just got a new (refurbished) headless Dell workstation (win10 OS).
I need a monitor to do the initial set up. But I don't have any stand alone monitors... I have an old laptop (Ubuntu OS) and an "all in one" desktop (win10 OS)
Without buying a new monitor, how can I set up the new computer?
I'm open to buying a cheap 7" monitor with a VGA connection if there's no way to get the computer set up. Any recommendations?
Google said to SSH into it, but I don't know the computer name or IP address.... Agreed... I got a 7inch monitor for $35.... I live in a tiny apartment and move frequently so I'm not into accumulating things. 🙏🫂
