All education is indoctrination by nature. The problem I presume you are pointing to is with the doctrine that is being taught.
That is why I homeschool. It was one of the best decisions of my life.
I don't believe the government school system is fixable. Even the teachers, who are acting with 100% altruistic motives and who believe they are always teaching the truth, are so indoctrinated that they indoctrinate even when they believe they are educating.
Did it start out as planned indoctrination or was indoctrination merely the result of standardized and highly profitable curriculums? Profits that then drove special interests to push their agendas into schools? Lobbying for subsidies from local governments to buy these curricula with tax dollars and debt?

Without nuancing this topic bitcoiners from this viewpoint will be avoided because most people will not convert their viewpoint because of too offensive how they live their life.
I am from the opinion that we have good things in the educationsystem like math and languages. It is not perfect but better than nothing. But I agree their is a big part indoctrination why we need control from the government.
