It’s their property.
The sooner we realize this the better. It makes no difference if we win small victories, we need to stop fighting them and choose to stop providing them attention & content.
Until content creators can monetize their content as easily as one the big box sites, they will continue to live with this risk. It’s not just about moving to a decentralized platform and owning your content, that’s important for sure, it’s about attracting creators because they can monetize their content.
I feel terrible for Ben, he’s helped orange pill millions of us, but this is exactly the same as “not your keys, not your bitcoin.” Sucks for Ben and all the people, myself included, who learned from his content.
