I have my Apple ID set on each device to automatically download the apps that I download on my phone. Sometimes I don’t use those apps on my other devices. Maybe this adds to the discrepancy of downloads and accounts.

Is the "new user" experience smooth in Damus? Does it show in user language? I don't have iOS, but that's definitely one thing to check - if labels are confusing, too many required actions, etc, then there could be a drop off because of that.
