Most social clients today are optimized for consuming: default page is the feed, profiles are default client templates
Thinking of vibe coding a cross between njump and xanga that people can use for first impressions on their profile

i remember xanga 🫠pages all used hot-linked images and people would have custom mouse cursors and fonts -- it was a bit silly
i also remember geocities, every page had a visitor count and webring banners
gosh i feel old
This reminds me at some point every major OS started ignoring custom cursors on the web for security reasons, and that was pretty sad
Would be cool. I started down this path sort of with gg.social - made everything customizable but left the project idle for now
