Ugh, this sucks. I’m doing it, but I don’t want to.

This is the way πŸ€œπŸ€›

At least it’s not cardio

Erik.. I've been lazy all my life and as older person than you I found a way to help motivate.

I usually do it with a friend and make it social and I usually have a coffee on my way to the gym. It's like a pre workout. Dopamine association.

When you see some results like a personal best or you see a bit more a muscular physique than the addiction Starts.

BTW... thanks for all your hard work.

Open to trying BJJ? I got tired of lifting and it felt like a chore. BJJ is a workout in itself but also motivated me to want to lift occasionally again to be stronger/safer.

I have a strong preference for sports, and did judo for 6 years. I miss it and would join a gym if it was nearby.

Maybe one day there will be one nearby. Workout and tell yourself its to be ready for that day. Don’t wanna go in and miss out because you let yourself go.

UR A FAG

that's like saying - UGH my girlfriend wants me to have sex with her - i am doing it but i don't want to !

You got this amigo! Try finding some exercises you enjoy doing. Initially it feels like a chore but I think once you get in the groove you will start to really enjoy cultivating your body. It's so important to take care of our body and it feels really good to get stronger and make progress

It sucks, but it has to be done. Get to it πŸ’ͺ

God dammit, now I have to go work out. Eating the bigger of two frogs now. (thanks for the motivation)

Keep at it until it becomes a good habit - it will

For me it then developed into a positive daily addiction, like morning coffee
