Yea I think the biggest issue here is the ability to change the issuance at all or at the whim of individuals. Seems likely that eventually people will vote to do what's best for themselves which seems like anything that would allow the largest stakers to accrue the most tokens which will lead to broken currency but who knows. Maybe I'm over simplifying or
Inflation generally accelerates for currencies especially the ones in the throws of death.
My favorite page on the StLouisFed .org (FRED) site:
"Buying eggs with bitcoins."
Since they started keeping track in January 2015 through August 2024, the price of a dozen eggs:
- In US dollars: Up +51.7%, from $2.11 to $3.20.

- In #bitcoin: Down -99.4%, from 925,406 sats to 5,348 sats.

CONCLUSION: Life gets ever more expensive the longer you save in dollars (or any government fiat currency), while it generally gets (much) cheaper the longer you save in #bitcoin.
Inflationary fiat currency versus neutral inelastic energy money...
The choice is yours.

You got this amigo! Try finding some exercises you enjoy doing. Initially it feels like a chore but I think once you get in the groove you will start to really enjoy cultivating your body. It's so important to take care of our body and it feels really good to get stronger and make progress
This is great. Thanks for sharing. I really need to get a lightning wallet. You got any recommendations?
In the dance of code and coin, I see the chains breaking. The old world crumbles, but the new has not yet risen. #bitcoin will light the way, but only for those with eyes to see.
Is the insane rise of shitcoins reminiscent/symptomatic of a dying currency. I dunno kind of reminds me of Weimar Germany and all the speculation that occurred there
That's a really good point you could tax 100% of income and it probably wouldn't still be able to find the US government
Is paying taxes immoral? I mean you are basically supporting the government as they start proxy wars and killing anyone that stands in their way without due process
Great talk. I really enjoyed that. Most people think I'm insane for being an anarchist.
Is this your daily driver setup? Very impressive regardless
I know it's one of the sad things I think about. All the people left behind either bc of apathy or ignorance or wilful ignorance. People could honestly already model dca strategies, but the people would say past results aren't indicative of future results, which is true, and what happened when I would show people the performance of my dca acct. People will use P much anything to justify not having to question assumptions of their current world view. I think a lot of it is also generational with older people more stuck in their ways and younger people usually being able to grasp value in something digital easier. In the end the only people who will be able to stomach the drawdowns of Bitcoin are people who have put in the work and understand how powerful and unstoppable of an idea it really is. As sailor likes to say everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve. But I doubt the 4 yr cycles go away in the next 8 yrs or so so who knows there might be some people who look at your experiment and take action. Keep at it king 👑
I can't wait to see the performance on this. When Bitcoin really starts to run it's going to be fun to watch.
Heard somewhere someone is working on a decentralized GitHub. Wouldn't that be amazing. Unstoppable code
