Never had… wish I had cuz it’s been a serious life hack
it truly is! especially for people with low iron
Yes! My mum would… but it’s one of the few foods I am not keen on, both texture and taste. Has to be extreme well seasoned for me now to make it palatable.
Do you have a recipe? I’ve never enjoyed the taste when I’ve tried it.
I don’t like the texture.
I eat 1/2 ounce per day for the nutrients. This is how I do it:
- buy fresh grass fed lever
- chop it into 1/2 ounce pieces and freeze it
- take out a piece every day
- slice it even smaller when it’s frozen (like small pills)
- take a glass of water and swallow the pills with it
And that’s how you have lots of nutrients daily. You will feel like a super human, I guarantee it.
Yes I sure had😅
Had deer liver growing up. Texture was a little weird so I preferred it in stews.
Funny animals parts that used to be considered gross (tongue, organs, etc.) are so popular now the prices are shockingly high. Beef tongue tacos near me cost more than ground beef. Cool to see, but feels odd.
It’s a super food
I had, I remember not liking it too much… as anything after I tried it as a grown man I like it… should eat it more often…
Every day 💪🏽
Lol. Nope, for some reason (i guess my mother didnt like them either!) she never gave me liver, brains, hearts... etc
I clearly remember the moment when i realised that a group of friends ate them regularly but I didnt. I thought I had the coolest mom ever!!
My grandma made liver quite often, true :) and I still like it very much, served with caramelised onions or baked apple/pear (bc liver is slightly bitter its important to add some sweetness and/or sourness - then its just perfect ) and boiled potatoes or salad depending on individual diet and preferences. I ate liver this monday - what a coincidence 😀
