Now it’s super easy to connect remotely using Holesail. The proxy app generates a public key, which you can use on any machine with Node.js installed. Just run:

npx holesail

Then open http://localhost:8989 in your browser — and you’re in.

The Holesail team is also working on a smartphone app for seamless access.

Want to publish a proxy-app for other Umbrel apps? It’s simple — just reuse the lnbits-holesail-proxy Docker and tweak the umbrel-app.yml to point to your desired app’s port.
