Congrats! Can't wait for the nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0h3gy93 release
Zapstore on the way 🤘
To access anything self hosted when you arr not home, here are a few that I personally use:
1. Immich
2. Vaultwarden password manager
3. Expense Manager
4. Paperless ngx
5. Portainer
Happy to announce that Holesail is now live on both Play store and the App store.

Shoutout to nostr:nprofile1qqstnem9g6aqv3tw6vqaneftcj06frns56lj9q470gdww228vysz8hqpz3mhxue69uhkzmr8duh82arcduhx7mn99uq3vamnwvaz7tm9v3jkutnwdaehgu3wd3skuep0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9usrwrn5 for shouting out Holesail.
Its already been useful to me for web Dev but yesterday my lil bro asked to set him up a Minecraft server and holy shit I just had him use Holesail. Its so much easier than port forwarding and whatever the hell software we were using for this back in the day. A simple batch script to launch the server and Holesail with 1 button and its legit kid proof.
Happy to hear that
Hi you should take a look at https://docs.pears.com/how-tos/connect-two-peers-by-key-with-hyperdht for an explanation on how it works, for a better and deep overview I think you should join Keet and ask in pear development.
Guys there can help you better than me.
> I’m still skeptical of the underlying tech… it’s a big black box
What is it that you are skeptical about 🤔, is there something specific.
I tried almost all images on Docker hub and none worked, in the end what worked for me is nostr-relay on pypi, super easy to setup and run.
Is there an easy way to deploy a Nostr relay on Raspberry Pi with Docker. Most images I tried did not support ARM64
no need for ngrok
use Sando and holesail to expose your local services to the web… and pay with cashu
all server side rendered in rust

I love this
Just saw this, hilarious haha.
🥳 My app is now officially live on the Umbrel App Store!
https://apps.umbrel.com/app/lnbits-holesail-proxy
Using LNbits behind a NAT (like your home router) without a public domain name is a real pain.
TOR? Slow as a 🐌.
Now it’s super easy to connect remotely using Holesail. The proxy app generates a public key, which you can use on any machine with Node.js installed. Just run:
npx holesail
Then open http://localhost:8989 in your browser — and you’re in.
The Holesail team is also working on a smartphone app for seamless access.
💪 No more centralized domain names or cloud providers!
Want to publish a proxy-app for other Umbrel apps? It’s simple — just reuse the lnbits-holesail-proxy Docker and tweak the umbrel-app.yml to point to your desired app’s port.
P.S. I’m not affiliated with the Holesail or LNbits teams — just a humble plumber connecting the pipes between two great projects.

This is awesome 🔥⛵
We need to move away from centralized services, and take back the control in our hands.
Just installed Immich and using it over Holesail, I am surprised by how it doesn't suck at all.
After struggling with self hosting media through Nextcloud I just gave it up, but now trying Immich for the first time and the uploads are almost instant.
My happiness can not be described through words but this picture does the job:
