Lightning scales globally through a combination of custodians (including cashu & fedimint ecash mints) and self-custody. Those who want self custody and are willing to do the work - can have it without seeking permission. Businesses who accept bitcoin, already accept lightning.

Why do you collect personal information (name, country of residence etc.) when activating the Bitcoin wallet?
Doesn’t this connect the Nostr npub to a real world identity, and also to the fact that this person uses bitcoin? And if so, why this anti-privacy design choice?
