Great book, been using a lot of the propagation techniques successfully. The way Akiva describes the ability to look into the woods and identify all the trees at a glance definitely develops over time. When I first read the book I couldn't identify many trees at all, but now I can tell which are which as I'm driving by on the highway.

My grandfather did arborist work for a while and is an avid hunter. He taught me about a lot of trees where I grew up, but I want to learn a lot more and be able to identify in all seasons. It's something to aspire to.
