So far, Nostr feels mostly like a shoutbox (remember these, on the forums back in the day?). Little informative posts; mostly celebration and self-afffirmation how great Nostr is.

The signal is still on Twitter, for now..

I think what nostr struggles with is discovery...who to follow, what are people talking about, who is related, etc.

Not sure. You can import your Twitter follows very conveniently with https://snort.social/new/import

I just think the *the same people* post more quality stuff on Twitter than on Nostr right now. Nostr talk is currently to 90% about .. Nostr (Zaps, clients etc. etc.)

Maybe it's because there is a wider audience and thus more eyes on Twitter, so ppl naturally communicate a bit more "serious" while here it's still a bit like a sand box...

With time it'll come, I'm not too concerned. The growth is astonishing, and what the implementations have achieved in such as short time is brilliant (native payments, spam prevention relays w/o moderation etc)

Yet at the moment, when I want real info / discuss things seriously, Twitter is still the place.
