i saw this genius bit of tech today.
a portable biodigester in a shipping container. food and plant waste goes in, cooking/heating fuel and garden fertilizer comes out.

That’s badass for energy dense self-sovereignty. Clean Energy Fuels had some tech for this at scale they sold off. I forget the name of it. The fuel was used to power an engine conversion that cummins sold for tractor trailers. It hasn’t really boomed yet, always on the cusp as it were. They consistently have revenue of around $100m per quarter, just minimal growth.
Urban farming guys had a super low tech version of something like this using an IBC tote. I'll see if I can find the video later.
