i saw this genius bit of tech today.

a portable biodigester in a shipping container. food and plant waste goes in, cooking/heating fuel and garden fertilizer comes out.

Urban farming guys had a super low tech version of something like this using an IBC tote. I'll see if I can find the video later.

I miss those days. Most seem to have become production with a persona on top

i dont watch most recent youtube videos for that reason.

we lived to see the first wave. so we know what is possible. though i suspect it will be in smaller communities now.
