How would the Raspberry Pi 5 compare to a cheap mini PC for running a Start9 server?
Need to take the plunge into self hosting (just need a contacts, notes, & photo sync/ backup, and a simple file transfer solution for my Pixel and MacBook) and eventually a Bitcoin node.
Any input would be appreciated 🤙

Probably get better bang for your buck with an old laptop or Mac Mini. That seems to be the general consensus that I’ve seen around.
Personally I've rebuilt an old pc into a nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll server. It's easy to do from the image. One hint I can give you is if your using brave as your default browser you don't need to set up the tor option on your PC.. ask my how I fooked up there 😉😁
