Will the wallet screen always appear this way, even after I connect a lightning wallet?
I have a wallet on Primal iOS app. I have to go there to send zaps. I can’t do anything in Damus.
To this day, I cannot connect a lightning wallet to Damus. I don’t have an Alby invite and my previous attempts to paste a NWC address always fail in error.
I would appreciate some help or a how to please!

How horrible. I have the same issue with Primal actually. On Damus everything is beautiful and Primal seems to not accept my Wallet of Satoshi. Would you be so kind and check if there is a zap ⚡️ symbol on my profile in Primal and tell me which client you’re using?

This is a screenshot from Primal earlier today. I actually tried to zap you and comment. But that comment is not viewable in Damus, only in Primal. My zap didn’t go through either that I can see.
Additionally, there’s a screenshot of your profile in Primal. Hope that addresses any concerns of yours on the zap symbol. 
You have to setup a wallet that is not Primal based (as their wallet doesn’t play with other clients since it is not NWC compatible.)
You can receive if using Damus but have to go to Primal to send #zaps
The ideal solution for me from trying many options is this:
Primal will be my “hot wallet” for #lightning
I am setting up AlbyHub self hosted so I have control of my keys.
When Primal wallet gets to a certain about I will sweep it to my AlbyHub.
The reason I’m not using AlbyHub wallet 100% is because
A. I don’t want to pay their monthly fee for cloud hosting (it’s too much for the amount of sats I’m collecting at this point via #V4V
B. I don’t want to miss being able to send or receive a #zap in the event my self hosted solution goes offline

Long term I’ll probably move away from Primal wallet all together but that is probably 6mo+ down the road

I looked into Zeus but seemed to be phone only and if it the app wasn’t open then zapping no work 🤪
Wallet of Satoshi was my second choice but not available on iOS in USA (I guess I could use a vpn and see if I can set it up via website but I think it is app based only) maybe #asknostr knows 🤷♂️
So then I started playing with Breez and 2-3 others but all were custodial (so I might as well stick with primal wallet other than these others utilize NWC)
So that’s when I was like AlbyHub is ideal for me for long term use..I’ve just hit numerous setup issues and have a call with them this coming week to resolve.

I think it was non support for NWC…
I believe I chatted with their support and they said it’s on the roadmap 6-12+ months from now
I guess my question to you then (as it looks like you are building Breez) and in context of using lightning wallets with Nostr
How do we connect Breez to Damus and other #nostr clients?
If @breez_tech is self-custody where do I download / backup my keys?
I don’t think Zeus has NWC capabilities?
I too looked into Wallet of Satoshi but that is clearly a no go for US users. I think there are other options with less barrier to entry so it doesn’t justify the hoops to jump through just to use WoS.
I downloaded Breez and explored briefly. I haven’t done enough research if it’s a viable option for zapping. I do know that is self custodial.

I still had an issue since I have on-chain BTC I’m trying to use to find the channel.
I emailed with support and they offered to hop on a cal with me to resolve so that’s what we are doing soon
