For the life of me, I can't get my Minecraft service port forwarded through my new pfsense setup. Send help.

I can reach is locally just fine. Ufw has been allowed on the port. Forwarding source of any to destination 25565 on my Minecraft server machine. Pure Nat enabled...

Also tried a different port but no dice.

Hope it works for you buddy!

does your isp block?

It's the only explanation I have left

id call and ask.

another option is connect in to pfsense but after your modem or fios or whatever. need to isolate between pfsense vs isp

Can I connect days the port is open at my ip

What device are you trying to access it on and is it accessible via localhost on the server device in like a web browser or just as a localhost address in the game by chance?

I can access it from a windows machine in my lan at the servers lan IP. But I cannot get to it via my public IP even though the port is verifiably open to wan. If you have Minecraft you can try mc.happytavern.co

Try Holesail, it can easily port from a local machine to another and you just give it the port it forwards on. I use it for tons of services and apps on my Linux machine back home

holesail.io works solid with Minecraft, you can use that instead of port forwarding
