if this is the goal, just use a passphrase (user generated 25th word) - secure it in a different place than seed
another option is seedxor, coldcard makes that easy, you get two seed phrases, need both to access funds

1) use seedxor, give one seed to heir, one seed to lawyer
2) use strong passphrase, give seed to heir, give passphrase to lawyer
2) is best case I’ve seen. If heir is kids (in case accident happened to you and spouse) it gets trickier. Haven’t seen a good proposal anywhere to that end to date.
