⚡️🤔 El Salvador suspended its "Bitcoin a Day" purchase program from January 24 to 28, the same week it amended the 2021 law because of the IMF, which gave legal tender status to #bitcoin.
Two bitcoins were purchased on January 28, but none have been purchased since.

This is very disapointing and sad, however very much expected. El Salvador was easily bribed by capital - for example its very hush-hush deal with the Chinese government. Still very sad to see bukele bending the knee.
While at the same time continuing to stack 🫠
ES has done enough and can now consolidate its economic, political, public safety and international standing gains. It’s no one’s permanent project except theirs. And they need time to deal with the real world.
The legal tender narrative was always garbage - bitcoin is real money; legal tender status is for derivative moneys, like Fed Reserve Notes. There was nothing then, and nothing now, regarding legal tender status of BTC.
