I asked my doctor what my blood type was and he was reluctant and didnāt tell me. ffs
tbf depending on how long youāve been with that pcp he may not know as ABO/Rh typing isnāt typically included on a routine CBC for primary prevention purposes. Only time I order those is when I think/know someone is going to need a blood transfusion to ensure compatibility. That being said, if you ever had surgery, donated blood, etc. it should be able to be found in the records (somewhere)
