found this graph demonstrating how ā€œprivateā€ health information is shared in one state

extra irony points because despite the circlejerk of sharing I still can’t see notes authored by doctors in the office building next door which would…I dunno…be actually helpful in treating acutely ill patients

nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z would love this IMO.. or maybe I am wrong šŸ˜…

ā€œHere we goā€ is all I can think.

I have no social media aside from nostr, no go*gle accounts etc and went to the doctor, didn’t text or tell anyone what I was there for.

As soon as I use my work computer an hour after leaving (which I don’t use for any personal log ins whatsoever), ads for the exact prescription everywhere šŸ¤”šŸŒŽ

lol that’s wild

So I assume the government collects all, knows all, and is the keeper of patients knowledge.

But the doctors, and patients, have virtually so little information for the doctors to be able to help them?

I asked my doctor what my blood type was and he was reluctant and didn’t tell me. ffs

tbf depending on how long you’ve been with that pcp he may not know as ABO/Rh typing isn’t typically included on a routine CBC for primary prevention purposes. Only time I order those is when I think/know someone is going to need a blood transfusion to ensure compatibility. That being said, if you ever had surgery, donated blood, etc. it should be able to be found in the records (somewhere)

but that’s the point…he may not have those records…another entity might 🤪
