On top of sunscreen being poison.
Sunglasses are also a Shitcoin.
Only wear them when no other choice, Ie fast moving devices without windshields.
Stop cheating nature, there is no free lunch.

Shoes are especially interesting. They've been around for tens of thousands of years. That's long enough to develop adaptions. Though there are some societies without. Not with sidewalks though, let alone sidewalks drug needles.
Cloths have been around for a very long time too, at least in cold climates. Again probably long enough to adapt in some way. It took only a few thousand years to adapt to alcohol and dairy.
I've been reading about this lately and trying to reduce when I wear them. Previously had them on darn near every time I was outside so it's such a stupid habit I have to break.
Yup, sunglasses were a psyop.
Few

Me and Steven Lubka had a discussion about this last week. I don’t even wear my regular glasses i’m the sun anymore unless I have to. Ideally I want nothing between my eyes and the sunlight.
Based. Sunglasses are especially bad during sunrise and sunset. Facing/viewing red light frequencies is very healthy for circadian biology and melatonin regulation
Natural daylight exposure in childhood promotes healthy eye development, reducing the risk of myopia. Bright light matters for kids' vision and sunnies are shitcoins.
I thought the research only showed a correlation with being outdoors, not the light brightness? That said, I spent plenty time outdoors as a kid and became myopic before I got my first computer (let alone sunglasses).
Clearly other factors involved but bright sunshine exposure in youth seems to confer benefits.
Or maybe don’t take medical advice from the dude who sold you a hardware wallet.
Something tells me the African savanna was not made of tarmac. There's probably also a reason folks in the great plains of Asia developed different eye adaptations than those who lived in (more forested) Europe.
Bright light is uncomfortable for some evolutionary reason, it seems stupid to ignore.
Perhaps this works: when in a dense forest looking for nuts, don't wear sunglasses. Plus: make sure kids spend time outdoors (nice if it prevents myopia, but it's sane in any case).
As for sunscreen: no strong opinion on its chemical properties, but I just avoid long durations of sun exposure at latitutes and seasons that's an issue. And I wear a hat.
That said, when the above is insufficient, I'll take my chances with whatever is for sale, rather than macho through sunburn and skin cancer (my skin color evolved for high latitudes).
I also vaguely remember reading (as that seems to be enough basis to make a bold claim these days) that kids instinctively seek out shade during play.
I used to wear them religiously, until i seem a fellow bitcoiner post about them being fiat and how it limits expose to the sun so ive went cold turkey wearing them, can confirm best thing i every did.
Since getting into bitcoin I have read and heard so much quackery to go along with all the good shit.
I honestly don't see the point (pun intended) in willingly blinding myself while trying to drive down the road in the name of "naturalism". I'd like to know if a deer is trying to cross the road or if someone else is veering into my lane because they’re not focused on the primary task they’re trying to perform.
"Cars just enable you to travel lazily... try walking where you need to go."
Yeah, fuck that too. I don't live in 1783 and neither do you.
