Can’t get deplatformed if it’s not a platform

Zapped, sir.

Thank you. Just learned something new today. I’ve been calling it a platform. Somebody else said it’s called a protocol. Not sure if that’s right, but it makes sense.
Hey chief could you please post something I don’t agree with so that i wouldn’t look like a crazy fan boi
But they can censor, change and delete your npub/profile?

One thing I’ve noticed is if I am typing a post and need to do a little bit of editing. It makes the cursor jump around and sometimes I have to start over. Otherwise everything is fantastic and I’m very impressed.
egat client do you use. damus, amethyst, iris and coracle are killing it, imo

Weird thought but nostr really isn't a platform. Just relayed info assembled in your phone from all over the place. You still in.... w/e it was that you flew to?
in Toronto area until tomorrow then we fly to 🇨🇷
You're going to love it there. Spent 10 days on the island of Koh Tao diving at Banns. Full moon parties on the islands are crazy. Then did a liveaboard to the Similan Islands.

wise man😎
Is there any detailed documentation to read for how Nostr works? I’m really excited about this and I want to learn how it works.
are you worried at all about being asked to blacklist certain npubs in the future? This is still platform censorship, although you cannot 'deplatform' from the protocol.
I highly doubt apple would ask me to block specific npubs in my client.
if not apple, the canadian government, etc...
it's not 'impossible' to imagine. Say Damus captures 90% of nostr userbase in a few years. Platforms+companies can always be central points of failure, what's important is protocol level decentralization, the fact that users can always take their keys elsewhere, and the existance of alternatives.
Damn i got deprotocoled
